At Pioneer Smart Environment Group, tree seedling production is more than a livelihood—it’s a commitment to healing the land, enriching biodiversity, and combating the long-term effects of climate change in Kenya’s arid and semi-arid landscapes.
From indigenous acacias to drought-tolerant fruit and agroforestry species, our nursery operations are helping communities regreen their environment while generating sustainable income.

We operate decentralised nurseries managed by trained members who cultivate and supply high-quality native tree seedlings to local farmers, households, and public institutions, national partners like KEFRI, NDMA, and the Kenya Forest Service, as well as conservation NGOs and land rehabilitation projects.
Our tree nurseries are more than a source of seedlings they are a foundation for environmental and community resilience. Through this project, we:
Restore degraded land and prevent erosion
Support biodiversity through indigenous species recovery
Improve soil health and microclimates
Provide alternative income for members, especially women and youth
Promote food security through multi-use tree varieties
Strengthen community adaptation to climate change
We are pioneer smart group and the best a tree seedlings
We welcome partnerships with schools, reforestation programs, government agencies, and conservation organisations. Let’s plant more trees, restore more land, and build climate-ready communities together.
Promoting environmental regeneration, sustainable farming, and community resilience through conservation, education, tree planting, beekeeping, and inclusive agri-business.
